I hope all of you had a great weekend. Mine started at 3:30 AM (explanation) on Saturday morning. You read that correctly, 3:30 AM. The things I do for football…
Speaking of football; Chad and I are MSU football season ticket holders for the 3rd year now and this is the first time we have been able to get a parking pass! These passes seem like they are harder to get than a the Golden Ticket on Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory. We purchased it with the same couple we buy the season tickets with (Steve and Katie). Our pass is in a brand new parking ramp near the Breslin Center so we didn’t know what to expect when we first got there at the season opener of MSU vs Furman. We were pleasantly surprised to see it it has grass, sidewalk and OUTLETS! So basically hit the tailgating jackpot. We showed up with a cooler and a couple camping chairs=major fail. So, as a group, we became determined to make a better impression at the MSU vs Wisconsin game.
We started our improvement with this stylish black and white checkered table cloth. It will also be great for Halloween and future Rockford High School related events with their school colors being black and orange. We bought the table under the table cloth as well. What’s perfect about it is that it’s adjustable to 3 different heights including a bar height (win). Awesome for entertaining not only at tailgates but at home when you are hosting a party. Multiple uses for one item is always something I keep in mind when purchasing an item.On this table we set up my Cinnamon Roll Casserole and Breakfast Taquitos.
Everyone that came to our tailgate came with so much food including: guacamole, chip dip, salsa, chips, candy, cookies, donuts and cider from Robinette’s Apple Haus & Winery!
Spartan Stadium isn’t too far away from our parking ramp (upper left corner of picture). There are a lot of tailgate pros around us and we took lots of notes for next time as well. So many great ideas out there!
We had such a great time with everyone who rallied to be there at 7am on Saturday morning to support MSU. Spartans may have lost the game but we most definitely won the tailgate with the Most Improved Award.
