Chad and I decided to go to the Burning Foot Beer Fest<\/a> this year in Muskegon! We went with our really good friends Mallory and GK. We love doing beer festivals with them as they can usually keep up with us. Just kidding, we usually try to keep up with them haha.<\/p>\n

We are so happy that Burning Foot Beer Fest<\/a>\u00a0and Traverse City Music and Beer Fest<\/a>\u00a0teamed up and moved the beer fests on separate weekends.<\/p>\n

What drew us to the BFBF (Burning Foot Beer Fest) was that it was right on the beach of Lake Michigan! They literally open up the \u00a0beer fest to the water.<\/p>\n

Lodging<\/h2>\n

BFBF offers camping with an additional cost with your ticket. Little known fact about me guys is that I hate sand hahaha. So, I couldn’t even start to imagine camping on the beach all weekend long. When we were looking for another campground we landed on Fisherman’s Landing<\/a>. One of the top needs of a campground that I was looking for was the proximity to the festival. Bonus, it was clean and well maintained too!<\/p>\n

We were able to fit a camper and a tent on the same site with plenty of room to spare. The front office was friendly and helpful and was even there to help us when we showed up late for check-in. One thing that I loved about the campground is the bathrooms believe it or not. They had a key code on the doors so the bathrooms stayed clean for the guests and was pleasantly surprised to see them clean every time I went in. It was also half the price of camping at the festival.<\/p>\n

Dockers<\/h6>\n

The first night after setting up camp we went to Dockers<\/a>\u00a0and was I impressed with this place. The outdoor space was fun, inviting and \u00a0alive with live music.<\/p>\n
