I may get some backlash on this…but I cant remember the last time I carved a pumpkin!<\/p>\n

When I was younger I remember being the only one out of my other 2 siblings that would scoop out the guts of the pumpkin haha. Now, that I haven’t carved one in years, I am not sure that I want to. Don’t tell my husband, he is really looking forward to carving pumpkins together\u00a0haha (sorry Chad!).<\/p>\n

So, I started to think of ways to decorate a pumpkin and use pumpkins in decoration without having to traditionally carve it with a face….<\/p>\n

  1. Sharpie It!
    \n\"pdh8179kr7al\"I love these little pumpkins. They are so great for bringing in pumpkins into the house for decoration. Want to step up your game? Write a cute saying on them with sharpie. For example write “Welcome” and “Fall” and then stack ’em!<\/li>\n
  2. Use Pumpkins as a House Number
    \n\"_fffo0jpwnzl\"This is such a cute idea to add to your front porch decor and useful. If anyone knows me I am all for a multipurpose item!<\/li>\n
  3. Modge Podge It!
    \n\"i4atbv_5l9al\"\"ni3jnez-ugsl\"My favorite of the two is the confetti idea, it would be amazing for a Halloween party you are throwing. The doily option is such a cute choice if you are a little more traditional and rustic approach to your decor.<\/li>\n
  4. Pumpkin Bonfire Anyone?
    \n\"gm8ddtmnwwxl\"Thanks Better Homes for stepping up the creativity on this idea! I would love to maybe attempt this next year. Yes, you still need to carve it but it would totally be worth the end result. Don’t you think?<\/li>\n
  5. Something for the Newlyweds

    \nThe succulent option is a great and then you can always replant them into something else and or gift them once the pumpkin deteriorates. Don’t think succulents are the only option, Mums are always a great fall plant to bring in some color on your front porch and are resilient to the colder weather. The plastic pumpkin turned fabulous planter needs to happen at my house. Cheap, easy and looks great. I am also loving the “cabbage” looking plants that I am seeing everywhere. They seem low maintenance (correct me if I am wrong green thumb people) and is an unexpected texture.<\/li>\n
  7. Punny Pumpkins

    \nYou can never go wrong with a pun pumpkin. My favorite? Trick or Treat Yo’ Self (Parks and Rec love happening behind this screen). This is easy to achieve with plain ole stickers and paint!<\/li>\n
