Want to start off the year right? Ask yourself these few questions to start 2017 with the right mind set. \u00a0I really liked taking the time to answer each question. I’m thinking of printing these out so I can revisit these throughout the year.<\/p>\n

  1. What are 3 experiences you want to have in 2017<\/strong>
    \n– Get a Dog<\/em>– I grew up with dogs my whole life and not having one of my own has been this void in my life. Chad and I are still weighing the options between adopting and buying a dog. Either way, I would love to expand our family to 3!
    \n– Find My Dream<\/em> – I have never known what I’m supposed to be doing with my life as far as my career. Finding this or getting steps closer would be HUGE in my life.
    \n– Travel<\/em> – We have a few trips planned this year and I hope all of them are amazing experiences (don’t worry i will share all the details when they come!)

  2. What are 3 relationships you want to focus on deepening in 2017<\/strong>
    \n– My Sister<\/em> – I feel like we are finally at the same stages in our lives. She is the closest family I have living by me and I should take advantage of that more often.
    \n– God<\/em> – Chad and I found a church that we both love and after the wedding we haven’t been back! We have been so busy ( I know this isn’t a good excuse)! I’m trying…
    \n– My Husband<\/em> – I would consider our relationship to already be “deep”. But, creating more memories with him and to make our first year of marriage memorable is a big goal for me this year.

  3. What are 3 ways I I’d like to get out of my comfort zone in 2017\u00a0<\/strong>
    \n– Networking<\/em> – With this blog it has somewhat forced me to network more and create my own personal group of people and business. Even though that group is small – expanding it would be huge for me personally and for this blog.
    \n– Learn about Beer<\/em> – Chad and his brother, Troy, are making important and big steps to achieve their dream – Opening their own brewery! I would like to learn at least the basics of brewing and what makes a good brew.
    \n– Personal Writing<\/em> – I feel like I have several personal stories I would like to share with all of you but I haven’t gotten the courage to share with all of you. Hopefully within the next year I will get the courage and knowledge on how to properly give my stories to all of you.

  4. What are 3 ways I want to show care and love to myself in 2017\u00a0<\/strong>
    \n– Have Fun<\/em> – if anyone knows me; I’m a relatively uptight person aka wet blanket aka party pooper aka sourpuss\u00a0– I think you all get the point. I would like to be able to go and have fun and act more like a 24 year old.
    \n– Consistent Exercise<\/em> – I am very lucky right now that my metabolism has kept up with my eating habits. Seriously, I’m not quite sure how I’m not 300 lbs some days. I need to adopt good habits with daily exercise now so I can be healthy for the rest of my life.
    \n– Have Confidence<\/em> – Chad does his best to give me confidence in myself and I love him for it. Events in my life dampened the confidence and prohibited me from thinking that I should have it.

  5. How do I want to be feeling exactly a year from now<\/strong>
    \n– Truly Happy – I hope that my marriage is strong, I’m doing something I love to do everyday and still have my wonderful family and friends around me. That is what will make me truly happy.
