I wanted to cook\u00a0a savory counterpart, like my breakfast burritos, to my <a href=\"http:\/\/thecheerslifestyle.com\/index.php\/2016\/09\/26\/crockpot-cinnamon-roll-casserole\/\">Cinnamon Roll Casserole<\/a> for the tailgate.\u00a0But, I needed\u00a0something\u00a0easier to make and to eat version for the <a href=\"http:\/\/thecheerslifestyle.com\/index.php\/2016\/09\/26\/spartans-vs-badgers\/\">Spartan vs Badger<\/a> morning tailgate. I found this recipe for breakfast taquitos on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pinterest.com\/hayley_zitz\/tailgate-pros\/\">Pintrest<\/a>\u00a0and jumped on it.<\/p>\n<p>This recipe takes some prep work to\u00a0get the ingredients cooked, assembled, rolled and wrapped but working with two people helps a ton! A HUGE thanks to my husband \ud83d\ude42 Thank you Chad!<\/p>\n<p>I had him\u00a0set out the tortillas and sprinkle cheese on them while he cooked the sausage. I cooked\u00a0the scrambled eggs. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F<br \/>\n2. Cook\u00a0the sausage (I used a griddle for more space)<br \/>\n3. \u00a0Whisk together\u00a0eggs, slash of milk, salt and pepper to taste and add to \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 warmed pan to make scrambled eggs.<br \/>\n4. Sprinkle the shredded cheese on the tortillas evenly. Divide the \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 scrambled eggs among the tortillas. Top with a cooked sausage link.<br \/>\n4. Roll filled tortillas to make a tiny burrito<br \/>\n5. Place the rolled tortillas seam down on a foil lined cookie sheet<br \/>\n6. Put them in the over for 5-7 min or until the seam is sealed for easy \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 eating<\/p>\n<p><em><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/thecheerslifestyle.com\/index.php\/2016\/09\/26\/spartans-vs-badgers\/\">To Serve at Tailgate<\/a>:<\/strong><\/em> wrap cooled breakfast taquitos in tin foil and then place them into crockpot at Low or Keep Warm temperature.<br \/>\n<strong><em>To Keep in Fridge (tailgate leftovers)<\/em>:<\/strong>\u00a0Keep in Ziploc bag. To warm, unwrap from tinfoil. Wrap in paper towel. Warm in microwave for 40 seconds or until warm.<br \/>\n<strong><em>To Freeze for &#8220;To-Go&#8221;<\/em>:<\/strong> wrap cooled breakfast taquitos in saran wrap tightly and then place in a freezer Ziploc bag. To warm them unwrap from saran wrap, re-wrap in paper towel. Defrost in microwave for 30 seconds and then microwave until warm.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">I wanted this to be edible for everyone&#8217;s pallet so I stayed clear of adding additional ingredients. If they were made for just myself and Chad to eat I would have added some Sriracha or served with some salsa for dipping.
