Haven Creek Happy Box – Indian Summer Entertaining

I have worked with Haven Creek on multiple collaborations but I am SO excited to work with them on their Happy Boxes! So now you are probably thinking…

What is a Happy Box?

Well, its full of happy of course! More specifically, its full on wonderful hand picked and curated items by the owner of Haven Creek – Kristy.  This box has all you need to entertain the perfect party so she appropriately named this months box Indian Summer Entertaining.

I was really excited to open my box and start to use everything in my home!

If you have been following me for a period of time you know that when I purchase something I always look at the item and try to think of how I can use that item in as many ways as possible. It is super important to me to make sure that when I am spending money I am spending it on something that will benefit me as much as it possibly can.

So, that is what my goal for these boxes – showing you how versatile and flexible everything is!

Tea Towel & Cheese Board …and more

Yes,  I am fully aware that the picture above does not show the board being used in its usual capacity as a cheese board. But, this is what I had on hand and loved the idea of using it as as a platter for zucchini bread that I made the other weekend with my mom.

Think outside of the box! Just because it looks like a cheese board doesn’t mean you have to use it in that capacity.

Next in the box was this awesome tea towel. The colors were a little outside my comfort zone but once I got it in my home I love it! Sure, you can have it hanging on your stove handle lookin all pretty like your other tea towels. When I look at this towel I can’t wait to wrap up a freshly baked loaf of bread for my dining room table when we have company over. Im getting a little fancy over there- lol- but its such a simple way to spruce up your table!

Ceramic Bowls, Candle, Easy-One Step Dip

Ok, I found so many little ways to use these awesome little ceramic bowls. Like, way more ways than I originally anticipated lol.

First thing I used the ceramic bowls for was the easy-one step dip that was in the box. I got the Artichoke Parmesan dip flavor. Let me tell you how easy this dip is…you add two cups of sour cream. Thats it. Yup.  Need a last minute appetizer for the game that your husband invited all his buddies over to watch? This will save you. A plus? It is delicious. I snagged some everything bagel pretzel chips and done!

Next I took these bowls on a little different path up to the master bedroom and bathroom. I decided these would be the perfect pieces to organize my hair ties, clips and bobby pins and it made the perfect little addition.

Next thing I did was use the bowls as a jewelry catcher. I threw in some pieces I wear often for each grab and go and loved the pop of color.

Lastly, I moved the bowl to my bed side table as another catch all but this time I put my essential oil rollers in it. I also placed the candle from Tried & True Candle Co. next to it as its the perfect scent for my bedroom. Its a great last reminder of the summertime.

What would you use these bowls for?

“Feed Your Tribe” Wooden Spoon

With this spoon being the featured item I was afraid to use it! It is just so cute and pretty! But, this spoon is more than pretty. Its functional and looks good in your utensil holder.

The spoon is from Indigo Spoons and what you cant see from the picture above is the paint dipped handle. It adds the perfect splash of color and fun!
